Yadira Torres – Alcott Elementary School
Growing up, I attended Hastings Public Schools, and from an early age, I knew I wanted to become a teacher. The educators I had during my years there are the reason I chose this path. Their dedication, encouragement, and belief in me shaped my passion for education. Today, I am proud to return as an educator in the very same public school system where it all began for me. It feels full-circle, and Iām honored to be part of a community that gave me so much.
