Roger Hansen – Minden Public Schools

I taught my entire career at East Elementary in Minden (K-3 resource). Never once did I consider leaving for another school and certainly not for another career. There is no better career than positively impacting the lives of children/youth. Numerous members of my family, both immediate and extended are or have been public school teachers. My wife Gara’s entire career was in Axtell, son teaches at Ft. Calhoun, daughter at Omaha Westside, son-in-law at Omaha Buena Vista, one brother at three schools in Nebraska and one in Kansas, another brother at Byron, brother-in-law at Bellevue, sister-in-law at Orleans, another sister-in-law in Kansas, numerous cousins and an aunt in the Red Cloud area and other locations. Always PROUD to be a PUBLIC SCHOOL teacher!
